 The Kingsmill Staff welcomes you to the following tennis programs and services during your stay at Kingsmill. To ensure your enjoyment of these programs and services it is advisable to reserve a spot ahead of time. We also offer private, semi-private, and group lessons to players of all levels. The Kingsmill Professionals can show you how to improve your game and have fun while doing it!

Adult Programs
- Stroke of the Day
Adult Stroke of the Day takes place Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Tennis club. You will get the chance to work on the designated stroke of the day with one or our star pros. Open to players 2.5 level and up. Cost: $25 per person.
- “King of the Court” Singles Play
“King of the Court” is a singles strategy session with a pro. The pro will supervise and/or play with two or three other players in a 1 hour singles session. Points will be rotated on the serving side against one receiver and strategy will be discussed during play. Cost: $32 per person - 1 hour.
- Play with a Pro
Need a fourth for doubles? Our “Play with a Pro” program is one of the most popular programs on the East coast. It is a great way to have fun and learn team doubles strategy by renting one of our pros as your fourth. The pro can stay with one partner in a grudge match or switch around for fun. The action is always exciting and fun in this playing situation. This is a great option for adults, juniors and families. Cost: $25 per person - 1.5 hours.
Note for the Beginner-
Private and semi-private are highly recommended for this level. Learning can be fun and one on one with a Kingsmill teaching Professional is a great way to learn the game of a lifetime!
Junior Programs
- Stroke of the Day
Held on Sundays throughout the year from 11:30am to 12:30pm, Junior Stroke of the Day will focus on 2 different areas that compliment each other in player’s games. Level: Adv Beginner on up. Cost: $25 per person.
- Junior Training Center
The Kingsmill Junior Training Center is a program designed for high school and tournament level players and is not for beginners or advanced beginners. The program is based on “attitude is the little thing that makes a big difference” and run accordingly. If you have true desire, average playing ability and a positive attitude, the professional training staff welcomes you to this program. Two levels offered and held weekly. Cost: Based on length of training session. (Player must have a 30 minute evaluation by a Kingsmill Professional prior to signing up for either level).
- Junior Clinics
Junior Clinics are held seasonally at the Kingsmill Tennis Club. Choose from 8-week sessions in the spring and fall, or weekly sessions in the summer. These clinics are a great way for juniors ages 5-18 to learn the basic fundamentals of the game. Our clinics are also available to accommodate drop-ins on a space available basis. Please call the Tennis Club for clinic times and space availability.
Cost: $25 - 1 hour.

Private and Group Lessons
Are you looking for more personal instruction from the Kingsmill professional teaching staff? Private lessons may be a better way for you to learn the game. Unlike a group session or Stroke of the Day, a private lesson will have you, one-on-one with a Kingsmill tennis pro for optimal learning. Semi-private lessons and group lessons are also available. Come join the fun in the exciting Prince and Wilson Complimentary Demo held April through September on Mondays from 12:30pm to 1:00pm. Try some of the hottest and newest racquets from industry leaders Prince and Wilson, with professional supervision. Buy one of our racquets after attending a session and receive a 15% discount on the racquet and 50% off of the stringing. Adults and Juniors (age 12 & up)
